The king room was brand-new with lovely views, the bed was very clean, and the hotel was in a central location right in the heart of the village, with a coffee maker and glassware as an added bonus.

The rooms were fantastic and tidy, with outstanding facilities and lovely views, just what we needed. The breakfast was excellent, and we were able to check in early.

I had a really amazing stay. The location, within a 10-15 minute walking distance from Hayes Garden World Ambleside, was good and stunning.- The area is local and really close to Ambleside and the surrounding area, 

The room was spacious and well-equipped, it even had a waterproof speaker in the shower and an electric kettle.

The B&B provided me with a modern, brand-new room with lovely views. Compston House B&B has an ideal central location just off restaurants, with good transport links and close to the center of Ambleside. 

Great location close to Windermere lake with free off-site parking and just a 15-minute drive to Rydal Cave.

My room was a good size and well-equipped, with a lovely view, and having coffee/tea making facilities and glassware was a great bonus.

Amazing lovely location, in the centre of the town. Rich, wonderful breakfasts with complimentary homemade blueberry muffins, American options plus orange juice.

Perfect location in Ambleside, right by good transport links, centre, and Ambleside. Also, close to all shops and restaurants. Airy and immaculate room with waterproof speaker in the shower, coffee maker, for instance, and smoke detectors too for guests' 

The staff here were very friendly and the breakfast was delicious, with complimentary homemade blueberry muffins and fresh fruit.

The location is lovely, right next to Ambleside with good breakfast. The B&B has a great new owner and is situated in the center of town.- The deluxe queen room offers modern amenities and stunning mountain views.- 

Wonderful Location and Comfortable Room

This place is in a great spot, just a short walk from Old Courthouse Gallery. The room was clean and really nice, and the staff were friendly and helpful. 😊

The room was nicely decorated and had lovely views. The location was very convenient, right in the heart of the village.- The venue is just 1 km away from Ambleside Roman Fort.
